Easy Smoothie Popsicles

Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I normally don’t post on Wednesday, but I was too excited to wait!  After making the 3-Ingredient Chocolate Ice-cream I started thinking about what else I could whip up to cool down.  My hubby suggested making something with fruit in it since he has an undying love for fruit…seriously, this kid doesn’t really want sweets, he just wants fruit.  So because I love him, I began looking for different recipes.  Most of the recipes I found were for popsicles, which is great but most of them looked like the fruit sank to the bottom of the popsicle.  So I decided to make up my own recipe!

Here’s what you need:

– Popsicle tray
– 2 containers of blueberry greek yogurt (you can use any flavor combo you want)
– 2 well done bananas
– 1 cup frozen blueberries

  1. Dump everything into a blender or food processor
  2. Blend
  3. Pour into popsicle tray
  4. Put in freezer
  5. Wait impatiently
  6. Check freezer while you wait impatiently
  7. Pull out of tray
  8. Moan at how yummy and healthy it is

I had some issues with the popsicle tray that we used because it didn’t want to actually pull the yummyness out with the handle (I broke one trying to get it out).  After running some cool water over the outside, I was able to finally able to wiggle one out.  We had some of the mixture left over so we had thrown it into some ice cube tray and those popped out just fine.  I think we may just make mini-pops the next time around 😉

All that to say…it is DELICIOUS and WONDERFUL.  Oh and SUPER HEALTHY!  Enjoy!
